Results: Would you rather pay someone to do a job for you by the hour, or by the task?

Let's say for example, that you hired someone to paint your living room. Would you rather pay them $8 an hour for labor, or a flat $100 for labor? If you paid them by the task, there would be a flat fee for labor that wouldn't increase, no matter how long it took to compete the task. If you paid them by the hour, it would be a minimum of whatever the current minimum wage is in your area.
