One of our police officers was shot and killed in the line of duty recently. His funeral services were to be open to the public but at the last minute that changed. Not due to the city being locked down because of the virus but because a patient with the virus threatened to attend the services and "infect as many officers as possible." This info was given to the prosecuting attorney who said he didn't know if charges could be brought against the patient because it's a "gray area."

The police issued a statement that they would be handling calls a little different to both protect themselves and our citizens during this outbreak. Since doing so it seems our city has gone crazy. People are driving up and down the streets firing their guns. Home break-ins have increased. Have you noticed an increase in crime in your area?

On the bright side, I've noticed that with more people being off work, more citizens are paying attention to what is going on. Crimes are being solved much faster because there are more witnesses helping police get better descriptions and being able to give directions/locations of where the suspects have fled. Are you staying more vigilant?
