April is National Donate Life Month. From Donate Life America, the theme for 2024 Donate Life Month is the night sky, stars and the universe. Look up to the night sky and the billions of stars that make up the universe. Stars remind us that even in the darkest night, there is light.
Per DonateLIfe.net, National Donate Life Month (NDLM) features an entire month of activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and to honor those that have saved lives through the gift of donation. Celebrations throughout NDLM include:

Did you know as of February 1, 2024, there were 103,736 people who need a lifesaving organ transplant (total waiting list candidates)? Of those 58,700 are active waiting list candidates. There were more than 6,900 living donor transplants in 2023. Even with the continued increase in deceased donation, the need for organ donors is immense. Yes
