Fat-shaming

I had a friend and author review my manuscript. She happens to be obese and was very upset about the fact that I was fat-shaming in my fiction novel. I want an honest assessment so I can figure out if this is simply a character flaw on my part of if, perhaps, this is some sort of trigger for her. The reason I ask is that no one else who reviewed the manuscript found any issue with it. Please be honest.
1. If you read this in a fiction book, would you consider it fat-shaming? "Awesome." The bathroom acoustics picked up the note of sarcasm as Kelly Morgan stepped off the scale and gave it a well-aimed kick to the corner. She let her stomach pooch back out and got into the shower. Another day; another diet.

2. Is this just more fat-shaming? He always maintained that she looked fine as she was. She realized she wasn't obese, but she really hated that she had a small tummy bulge that she just couldn't seem to get rid of no matter how much she tried.

3. Same question - am I simply incapable of realizing I'm insensitive to people who are overweight? Deciding to pass on the potato, she opted for steamed broccoli and self-respect.

4. Is this just an aspect of the character or am I purposely beating down people with weight issues? "Let's see, you're dieting… What doesn't sound good?"

5. Does it make any difference to your opinions above at all if you know that I happen to be fat?
