This inspired by a TW survey on the National Positive Thinking Day. A comment was made is there a negative day? Nope, there is not, but twisted part of me finds fun to think about.

1. Marvin - the "paranoid android" from Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. Be honest, would you get into being able to mope around for a day telling folks your woes?

2. I Hate People- Ebenezer Scrooge from Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol likely the best known negative thinker. In the musical Scrooge he rants on about the human race forgetting he's part of it. Hate is a "big word" as Mom used to say, but are there some folk you actively avoid?

3. Poor Poor Pitiful Me - written and recorded by Warren Zevon in the mid 70's. Like to think I'm a caring sort of dude, but on the flip side don't want to hear the whole "born in a van down by the river" tale. Are you able to listen to constant tales of misery?
