Common Kiddie Attractions

I write of a weekly column directing readers to events to which they may avail themselves for a day or evening out or a break during a weekday. In endeavoring to emphasize free,. all-ages, family-friendly goings on, I've noticed certain activities included in many events to attract and occupy the time of children aged 12 and under. I'm wondering whether the following activities are or would be enjoyed by children that young in your life--be they your own offspring, niblings (nieces and nephews), grandchildren, foster children, anyone you're babysitting,, etc.
1. Face painting?

2. Bounce house?

3. Arts & crafts (apart from getting their faces painted?)?

4. At a place where there's an adult beer garden, a root beer garden (not all that common in my experience, but as a kid who liked that drink, I'd probably have enjoyed hanging out in such a place)?

5. Caricature artist (also not very common, but since I liked having my caricature drawn at a theme park when I was 13, I'd imagine younger kids would, too)?
