1. Ode to Billie Joe (1967) is a song written by Bobbie Gentry who sings it here. It's about a teenage boy who jumped off a bridge to his death in Mississippi. A film was even made about this story. I hope none of you ever think of doing this to yourself as there is always help available if you need it & have nobody to talk to. You're never totally alone! Do you know anyone who considered suicide or actually followed thru with it? I sincerely hope not.
