Results: Canadians less likely than Americans to see religion as a social good: poll

A new poll shows that Americans are much more likely than Canadians to believe that “religion has a positive influence on societal values.” The survey, conducted by Leger for the Association for Canadian Studies, found that only about a third (34%) of Canadians agreed with the statement, compared with 53% of Americans.
