This survey is about spooky stuff. At Halloween we treat the afterlife and how to get there as entertainment. Maybe there is a lot more to it than that and we should to be more respectful of it.

This close to Halloween we are seeing many surveys about ghosts, goblins and other spooky stuff, most of it playful and entertaining. Tales of the occult and the afterlife have been around since the dawn of time. Ancient records allude to spirits, most of them benign, but not to be ignored. Some might deny their existence but evidence exists of their presence and I find that comforting rather than something to fear. Here are some aspects of this phenomenon you might wish to consider. If not, you have the N/A option.
1. Deepak Chopra suggested that we are all made from "nothing." Everything we see, feel, touch, and even think about is made from electricity. Perhaps the spark of life is made from the same stuff. Here are some thoughts on that. Which of them do you find interesting?

2. Here are some strange happenings that seem less strange if we think of them in the context of everything being a form of electrical impulse. Which of these do you find interesting?

3. I believe our bodies live but once but our spirits are eternal and live on as a form of energy. This is something the ancient peoples have long known and most religions have incorporated some version of this into their rites and rituals. As my wife and I grow older and our physical beings deteriorate we get comfort from knowing the bond between us will continue in the afterlife.
