My father worked for various railways while alive, last being Grand Trunk out of Detroit, MI. They'd do a Santa Train each year which would travel around to various points on the GT line.

1. The train - Grand Trunk moved freight. However, got their hands on a couple of passenger train cars that were converted for track inspection. These became the basis for the Santa Train. Have you ever been on a train of any type?

2. Walkthrough - folk entered via first car, which had small animatronic displays, a talking Christmas tree, decor. Second car had a false fire place with a TV showing Christmas classics. Santa behind that kids got to meet. Gifts handed out to them and adults. GT employees throughout greeting. Ever went to meet Santa some place growing up?

3. Me - I was the "gofer". In contact with three others via walkie talkie. (One in each car, one outside). Need more bears for Santa, on it. Minor mishaps need a first aid kit or such, got it. Also got to play "Bruce the Spruce", name I gave the talking Christmas tree while doing. Do you find you "get" the mind of a child more than adults at times?
