Results: What Are You Feelings on Telling Certain Relatives or Friends That You Are Going Through Cancer

My husband and I found out 3 months ago that he had cancer. The news was devastating. We chose to just tell our children and parents. Our family is not close and decided we didn't want fake "I'm here for you" since they haven't contacted you in months or years. We swore our parents to keep it a secret and of course they had to tell someone. That someone is someone that I haven't heard from in many months. I ignored the text because it just felt fake.
