Results: My Grown Up Christmas List

One of my favourite Christmas songs, My Grown Up Christmas List was composed by David Foster (music) and Linda Thompson-Jenner (lyrics). It was originally recorded by Foster, with Natalie Cole on vocals, but didn't really become well known until Amy Grant recorded it in 1992. In my opinion, the best version was done by Kelly Clarkson in 2003. Do you like this song?

The reason I love this song is the words. I feel that we would all love to be able to really enact change in the world, and make life better for everyone. We know that there is no magic solution, but it's nice to dream about how the world could be a much better place. Do you like the lyrics to this song?

As much as we would all love to be able to "wish" all the hatred, bigotry, evil, disease, conflict, and poverty away, sadly this is not reality. However, I feel we can each in our own way, maybe make this forum, Tellwut, a better and less toxic place to visit. I've said it before, we don't have to all agree, we don't even have to all have the same beliefs, but we should all respect other's opinions, even if we disagree with them. Nothing we comment, no matter how loudly and how often, will change anyone's mind. Sometimes it's best to ignore the comments you disagree with the most, and if that can't be done, block the person. Do you feel that all of us should try our best to make Tellwut a better experience?
