I stayed in some relationships in my dating years after being cheated on, others I ended, depended on how I felt about the person. I believe my ex husband cheated on me while we were married although he still denies it (I somewhat had proof but you don't need to hear the gross details about that), he lied by omission etc etc and I left that relationship when I finally had some help - financial, emotional etc - to do so. I could not see our relationship getting any better despite his promises that things would get better - financially, romantically, trust, and so forth. It never did. Have been divorced nearly 15 years and he's still a jerk, he's remarried and I've heard he may have cheated on her during their dating/courtship, it's not my problem anymore so it doesn't matter (but it shows that leopard didn't change his spots)
