I have an older sister 55 years old living with my mother 76 years old. I expect or would hope she would help my Mother around the house, reminding her of bills to be paid, call electric company to turn on the pilot during winter, make sure she goes to her yearly wellness doctor visit. All meanwhile my sister has a husband and a home she rents out, but claims she would sleep in her car if we (family) threw her out. My Mom now believes she has no where to go, so wants her with her. I understand my Mom is an adult but she is influenced by someone who is taking advantage of her. Doesn't do anything and only pays her $120 per month and no bills. Oh barely started paying her that $120 for 3 months and has been living on and off with her for over 2 years. My older sister does not work but goes to Bingo with my Mom 6-7 days a week at nights.

Am I asking too much? Be honest
You should stop caring for your Mom and let the older sister take advantage of her

Stop caring about it all together and do nothing and feel sadness because your Mom is not the same person

Why not take your Mum in, yourself?
By all means it is a good thing that your mom has someone with her 24/7.
There is usually at least one leech in every family~~
