Results: Even if your not religious, especially if your not religious, have you ever read The Bible, The Book of Mormon, The Quran, Dianetics or other religious texts just for curiosities sake?

When i was young i used to see the commercial from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for their free book all the time. Out of curiosity I ordered it and read it. 3 months later i was bombarded by phone calls asking if I wanted someone from the church to come see me. I didn't even know we had Mormons in my small town in Northern Canada. I have also read different versions of The Bible, Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard and a book called A History Of God written by Karen Armstrong a former Roman Catholic Nun. Recently I was biking with my son and came across a group of Muslims setting up a booth, looking to have a conversation with the local community and answer questions people might have. They were also giving out information about the Quran or the Quran itself i wasn't sure. I would have stopped but we were on our way somewhere and had no time. But if they were still there on our way back i would have stopped and got info just out of curiosity. I even considered one time going into the local Church of Scientology as someone was handing out info, and thought why not, but changed my mind as I was worried how it would turn out. Do you also wish to seek out knowledge about others beliefs in the hopes of getting a better understanding of the people that follow them?
