Results: Rise and Fall of tourist destinations.

I recently read a fascinating book about the rise and fall of tourist destinations because I live in a city which keeps breaking records for the number of tourists visiting. A particularly fascinating part are the descriptions of allgocentric and psychocentric travelers and the scale in between the two categories. Allogocentric travelers are the venturers made up of those who are the early arrivers who go where tourists are relatively scarce and where conveniences for tourists are also limited. The categories of tourists slowly move away from the allocentric travelers with each category growing larger than the one before until arriving at the psychocentric travelers. The psychocentric travelers are the repeaters. Psychocentrics may go to the same golf resort or seashore or the same theme park zone repeatedly while on vacation. Perhaps I should say while on holiday for some who might respond to my question, but I think of holidays as a matter of religious observance. Thus my preference for the term vacation. Which category of tourists would you fall into?
