Results: Canadian snowbirds consider skipping U.S. winters amid rising economic tensions
Published on 11/07/2025
Fewer Canadian snowbirds plan to spend the winter in the U.S., with only 26% likely to go—a 37% drop from last year—and just 10% of those 61 and older planning a trip south. Concerns over rising travel costs, political tensions, exchange rates, safety, and new U.S. entry requirements are driving many to consider alternatives.
