Recently I watched a dog owner and his pet leaving the vet clinic. The animal was eager to flee the practice, and was pulling the man down the ramp. The owner repeatedly gave harsh jerks on the leash (risking damaging the dog's spine), and ultimately bent over and smacked the dog's butt. Do you employ or have you employed in the past that behavior with your pet? Please select all that apply.

I was amused by a dog owner who patiently struggled to get her big furry dog into the vet's building. She gave up trying to shepherd the dog with his leash, and resorted to standing behind him, gently pushing him forward. Ultimately she sort of lifted his back legs and guided him up the ramp like a doggy wheelbarrow. What is your pet's behavior when going to the vet?
