At this time, finding the perfect gift can be difficult, but sometimes the best gift idea is to find something that gives back to the recipient's favourite charity or cause. Ten years ago, I adopted a bald eagle from the Toronto Zoo for my daughter, as she was really into eagles. The money went towards the care of the eagle and she got to visit him whenever she went to the zoo. Sadly, her eagle passed away several years ago, but enjoyed a long, happy life in his beautiful habitat. Have you ever adopted an animal from a zoo or animal sanctuary?

A green bandana has become a symbol of abortion rights. Taking after the pro-abortion activist efforts in Argentina, the color has since signified the fight for abortion access. To support that fight, Oui the People has released the Green Bandana Project, 100 percent of the proceeds of which will be donated to the Whole Woman's Health Alliance, a nonprofit committed to providing reproductive care for their patients, including abortions. Never has a cause been more important and timely, as women's reproductive rights are being stripped away in the U.S. Is this a gift you would gift to someone on your list?

Not only are these rainbow towels adorable and well-made, but they support the LGBTQ+ community. Fifty percent of each purchase goes to the Trevor Project, the world's largest provider of crisis intervention and suicide-prevention services for LGBTQ + youth. Is there anyone on your list that would like these towels?

When it comes to giving back, Lush is doing it right. This lotion doesn't just do good, it smells so good too. 100 percent of the purchase price of each charity pot (minus the taxes) goes to grassroots organizations that support environmental justice and animal welfare. Do you know anyone on your list that would enjoy this gift?
