I think gift baskets are a convenient way to shop for special occasions; House Warming, New Baby, Birthdays, Holidays etc. Or for special interests like Cooking, Gardening and Reading for example. Please let me know what you think.

What do you think of the idea of "Build your own gift basket"? There would be different baskets/various containers. And a variety of different types of items to put in them, sorted into groups according to price. Each basket would get a certain number of items from each group that the buyer could choose themselves for a set price. There would also be a choice of color of cellophane wrap and shredded paper fillers and greeting cards. Is this something you would try if you were somewhere it was available? Yes

Or would it be better to offer the items with a price on each one and tally up the price as the basket is filled. The cellophane and shredded paper would be included with the price of the basket or container. Yes
