In an effort to attract the ladies, 32-year old Datta Phuge, a millionaire from Pune, India, spent $235,000 to have a solid gold shirt designed for him by 15 goldsmiths in 2013. The end result was a 22-karat gold shirt weighing more than 7 pounds and consisting of 14,000 gold flowerings, interwoven with spangles, The shirt was assembled on a fabric base of imported white velvet, and comes with six Swarovski crystal buttons and a gold belt. Phuge insisted that no woman would be able to resist his solid gold shirt, and therefore him. Sadly, recently Phuge was killed by his son's friends, over a debt. His bodyguards who were usually with him, were not with him when the murder occurred. Does this story sound almost too odd to be real, although it is, in fact true?
