A survey by Yahoo/YouGov found 63% of adults in the U.S. are not planning to dress up for Halloween or a Halloween party. A total of 22% are opting to wear a costume, and 14% say they are unsure if they will or not. Are you planning on wearing a Halloween costume?

Mental health counselor Dr. Shainna Ali, who has written about Halloween anxiety in the past, says there are a variety of factors that could contribute. "A big divider is if the person values Halloween," Dr. Ali tells Yahoo Entertainment. Other reasons include religion, cost and the fact that many hard to have fun while tragedies are actively occurring across the globe. If you are not wearing a Halloween costume, why not? I do not value/care enough about Halloween to wear one
