Womens hockey seems much more civil than mens hockey. For one thing there's no fighting in womens hockey. Are you a fan of fighting in hockey?

That's not to say womens hockey isn't physical. When an opponent is skating towards your net and a defender is trying to prevent her from trying to score or pass to one of her teammates, usually the stronger player will win the battle. Do you find this exciting? Yes

Team USA scored 2 goals while Team Canada had 2 players in the penalty box (so 5 skaters vs 3 skaters until Team USA scored their first goal, then 5 skaters vs 4 skaters). The first penalty was clearly not an infraction but the referee making up for a penalty she missed earlier. Do you think referees have too much power? Yes - they can decide the outcome of a game by calling a 'phantom' penalty

No - both teams have to play with the inconistent referring. While one team might get (what appears to be) a favourable call by the referree, it evens out over the course of a game.
