Results: Do you think that Social Media has been more harmful or helpful to the world?

Do the connections created between people with common interests despite the geographic distance between them make the world a better place and therefore outweigh the downsides of social media such as the spread of misinformation? Does the good that something like Twitter does like making connections between people during wars and others emergencies outweigh all the hate and lies spread on it?
