You're sure to save gas and draw attention as you cruise the highway in this invention by Swiss engineer, Mr. Gerdes. Here he sits comfortably in his Motorwheel. It's a motorcycle with a wheel which runs on a rail placed inside a solid rubber tire. If this invention had caught on, would you be interested in trying it?

Here's another invention whose creator faded into oblivion. The Blizzard mask was invented in 1939 in Montréal where temperatures can dip to -4 Fahrenheit. The beak shaped mask was intended to protect the wearer's face from snow and ice. Looks good for social distancing too. Would you wear the Blizzard mask in blizzard conditions?

I shudder as I present this next invention so please do NOT hold me personally responsible. The baby cage was invented in 1913 by Mrs. Robert C. Lafferty. It stuck out of a window like an air conditioner and the baby was placed in it to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. The idea was to allow Mom to tend to other duties while baby was out of harm's way. Does this seem like a safe, practical solution to you?

The Pluto Lamp is surely a Jack-of-all trades. It was invented by H. M. Robinson as part lamp/part vending machine and opened for business in London in 1898. It sold coffee, tea, hot water, beef stock and various small items. The lamp could also connect a person to the nearest police station using a type of telegraph system. Ironically, the concept fizzled out mainly because locals discovered they could insert pieces of tin instead of the required coins and steal the merchandise. Would you fancy a hot cuppa from a Pluto lamp?
