If so, have you noticed that there are trends where users want to spread the word to stop a phenomenon in a different country from where they reside by sharing posts?

For example, there is a recent phenomenon where social media users are trying to 'end' the phenomenon of dog-eating in Asian countries. But dog-eating in Asian countries have been going on for thousands of years. Do you think that a social media awareness movement will end the activity of dog-eating?

Do you think the campaigns on social media that try to 'end' the controversial topics are effective in making people want to end the controversial topics, rather than just getting informed about it?
