Results: Are Bridesmaids Suckers?

More posts are appearing online from reluctant members of wedding parties or from prospective members seeking to avoid this "honor". I have never been a bridesmaid and didn't have a traditional wedding myself but got married in an overnight trip with just my husband and myself so I am certainly no authority on this subject, What I am learning lately certainly implies that bridesmaids get a raw deal. Would you seek a "good" reason to get out of it if asked?
