Movember may be coming to a close (No Shave November is the month where the spotlight is on men's cancers, and evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness), but these men have already "won" with their over-the-top moustache and beard creations. The 2019 National Beard and Moustache Championships, in Illinois, held during No Shave November saw some of the best came together to have their pictures taken for charity on November 8th and 9th. This year, the competition is supporting three charities: Oscar Mike, a foundation supporting injured veterans, P.A.W.S of Tinley Park, a no-kill animal shelter, and Together We Cope, a homelessness prevention agency. Maybe the winners can compete in the World Beard and Moustache Championships. Since 1990, this contest founded by a beard club in a small village in Germany's Black Forest, where the "sport" - known as international bearding - has grown to include beard clubs from all over the world. Previous championships have been hosted in Texas, Berlin, Alaska and various other locations worldwide. Here is one of last year's winners (shown). Do you think creative facial hair can be considered a "sport"?
