Sometimes a news story comes out that just sounds like the beginning of a good joke. For example, Disneyland's "It's a Small World" attraction was the site of a big disturbance a few weeks ago, when a man decided to strip down mid-ride and crawl around the exhibit, to the shock of his fellow passengers. The unidentified 26-year-old man exited his boat, took off his shirt, shoes and pants and began climbing over and around the ride's animatronic characters, while the infamous song "It's a small, small world" plays over and over. "They should stop the music," one visitor suggests. Can you see the humor in this scenario?

From 2016, this news story sounds like a Saturday Night Live skit. 25-year-old Karson Kidwell was busted for shoplifting from a Walmart in St. Augustine, Florida in November 2016. She was caught stealing a DVD of "Magic Mike" and a big, dry salami. When the cop asked her why she stole the stuff, she told him, "It's hard times." I assume the pun wasn't intentional. This recent story shows that even the police have a sense of humor. An escaped pig was captured after trying to outfox police in Gloucester County. "Sometimes the jokes just write themselves," Deptford police said on Facebook in sharing video of the caper. "Albert Einswine," as officers named him, was first observed running loose Tuesday. December 5th afternoon in Deptford Township, according to Detective Sgt. Bob Jones. "He had no concern for traffic and no regard for our traffic safety laws," Jones joked Wednesday.
