Trivia
I remember a commercial from the 90's for frozen pizza. The one i found is set in old west times and someone is about to be hung from a tree. The executioner says "What do you want on your Tombstone?" The criminal says "Pepperoni and Cheese" Dumb premise but memorable. How do you want to be remembered when you pass on? Message on a Tombstone? Cremated in an urn?

I think i would prefer to be cremated. But in the end, i won't know either way what happens so if my family decides they want a service, a casket, maybe a wake, that is up to them and how they want to grieve. What do you want? Casket burial? Cremation?

I don't really like the idea of cemeteries. I mean you put your loved one in the ground with a tombstone that you may or may not come back and place flowers on or visit, maybe you talk and hope that your loved one hears you in heaven or maybe their ghost is hanging around the cemetery. I would rather believe that if their is an afterlife or heaven that their spirit has left their body and moved on and if they can watch over us or hear us that can be done from anywhere. I don't want to believe they are just hanging around the cemetery waiting for me to visit on occasion. What do you think? Cemeteries good and much needed for grieving? Or do you think cremation is the way to go, because you can keep your loved ones ashes with you and you can really talk to them from anywhere?
I need a cemetery and a tombstone for my grieving process.

Another thing about cemeteries for me is they take up a lot of space. Something that we have in abundance in the U.S.A and Canada. But other countries don't have that kind of space and that might be a factor in how they grieve their loved ones. Did you know about any of these practices in other countries?
Sky Burial - In Tibet in most forms of Buddhism, bodies are cremated or given over to animals as an act of charity. Since their is little wood for burning, some allow vultures to pick the bodies clean, then the bones are ground up and fed to crows.
