1. The Change NOW summit, focused on finding solutions for the planet, was held in Paris, France, from April 24 to 26, 2025, at the Grand Palais. This year marks a decade since the Paris Agreement, it featured over 1,000 solutions and visionary leaders. The event attracted 40,000 participants, 10,000 businesses, 1,200 investors, and representatives from 140 countries. Have you been to any large events that promote solutions to Climate Change?

2. Young people in Ghana are frustrated with the air pollution from burning waste that affects their lives and health. Better Waste Management, making products out of waste products, and selling them. GAYO takes that energy and turns it into action. We are promoting sustainability and reducing the vulnerability of local communities to natural hazards and socio-economic risks. We focus on: Youth empowerment, skills development, and public education: Children, youth, and women with less adaptive capacity. Our work has spanned a variety of industries over the years, including climate change, the circular economy, disaster risk reduction, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy activism. 4. In a new recycling scheme in Amsterdam waste that would otherwise wind up in landfill. Amsterdam has a unique recycling program called "Wasted" where residents are rewarded with green plastic coins for recycling their plastic waste. These coins can then be used at participating local businesses for discounts or freebies, incentivizing participation and promoting a circular economy. The program, run by the Cities Foundation, has seen positive results, with over 700 households participating and 16.5 tons of plastic collected since its 2015 inception.
