1. When I was working in retail advertising all those years ago, we had to make sure that consumers could not misread the ads. We had to add "TV sold separately" to ads for TV stands, and even had to include "Baby not included" to ads for high chairs. I thought I had seen (and included) it all, but judging by these examples, I was wrong. This broom includes the hilarious disclaimer "Not suitable for flying"... I guess we can all blame Harry Potter for this! Have you ever seen a common household item that included a funny disclaimer?

3. So, this one is not exactly a disclaimer or warning label, but an example of "is this really necessary". In 2015, conflicting reports emerged on whether Jericho, the brother of slain Cecil the lion, was also killed in an illegal hunt in Zimbabwe. Cecil's killing provoked an international outrage because he was a protected animal. It turned out that this was a false report, but this is not the issue. For some reason, when reporting on the story, CNN felt it necessary to include this questionable qualifier to their report. It reads, "CNN reports that, according to a senior park official, Cecil the lion's brother Jericho, WHO IS ALSO A LION, was killed". We are surely all happy to hear that Jericho was not killed, but who would think that Jericho was anything else but a LION?
