1. Music and trivia...two of my favourite things! Eminem's hit song Rap God, released in October 2013 on the album The Marshal Mathers LP 2, holds the world record for the highest number of words contained in one song. It has an astounding 1560 words. Have you ever heard this song and did you try to catch all the words (you can try now --lyrics may offend)?

2. Billy Joel was once a successful Long Island boxer, winning 22 out of 24 fights. He had taken boxing lessons because he was frequently beaten up by neighborhood bullies. He left his boxing career and went into music when his nose was broken in his 24th fight. Another interesting fact is that Billy Joel, despite all the references to Italian heritage, strangely enough, is not Italian. He is Jewish (with all four of his grandparents Jewish. Did you know these two facts?

3. As one of the most successful music groups ever, The Beatles wrote and recorded some incredible songs, which are widely regarded as some of the best of the best. Despite this, none of The Beatles could read or write sheet music. And they are not the only ones...Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin and Elvis also could not read or write sheet music.
