It is a belief, story, or piece of advice that is superstitious and not based on fact, often passed down through generations as traditional wisdom or folklore, particularly concerning health and daily life. Which of these old wives tales do you remember and maybe believed as a youth?

1. if someone slaps you on the back while you're making a face, it will permanently stay that way. Not sure how wide spread this was as a wives tale, but I remember seeing this in the movie One Crazy Summer as a kid and kind of wanting to believe it to use against my childhood bullies. Have you heard of this one?
