A TW member already knew the answer to this one and "Let The Cat Out Of The Bag" but, in case you missed it, there is a place in Canada where you will lose weight instantly due to the fact that gravity is lower there than almost anywhere else on the planet. Were you aware of this and these other anomalies?

It is the biggest non-volcanic mountain on Earth and its base is so big it has its distinct, often severe, weather conditions due to its location near the Pacific Ocean, which causes year-round storms to drop vast amounts of moisture, leading to sub-zero summer temperatures and significant glaciation which contribute to the extreme cold and unpredictable, rapidly changing weather that climbers must contend with.

Mount Thor features Earth's greatest vertical drop, an overhanging cliff face on its west side measuring approximately 1,250 meters (4,100 feet). The mountain's cliff has an average angle of about 105 degrees, meaning the summit extends out over the base. A person falling from the top would plummet 4,100 feet (1,250 m) before hitting anything and would remain in the air for a terrifying 26 seconds. Silver lining - if you make it to the top you will weigh less than when you started.

Churchill, Manitoba, is one of the world's best and most reliable locations to view the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), allowing for over 300 nights of potential aurora activity annually. Churchill is also known as the polar bear capital of the world because it's where polar bears congregate in the autumn, waiting for the ice on Hudson Bay to form. This is how Coca Cola was able to photograph a bear having a coke while watching the Northern Lights.

If you want to go somewhere warmer (in summer) Wasaga Beach in Ontario is home to the world's largest freshwater beach and a unique coastal dune ecosystem. More than 14 kilometers of white sandy coastline welcomes millions of visitors from around the world every year. Wasaga Beach is undergoing a major revitalization to make it a more modern, four-season destination with year-round hotels, shops, restaurants, and improved climate resilience. I wish them well.
