Now that Canada has had its Thanksgiving dinner (and overindulgence by some), our American friends have their own celebration to look forward to. A traditional Thanksgiving meal can range from 3,000 to 4,500 calories, depending on portion sizes, appetizers, drinks, and dessert. Fortunately we don't eat like this throughout the year or we could become an obesity statistic. Here are some stats about obesity from various countries. Which do you find interesting?
In the 180 countries that are typically used for these types of rankings, Russia is in the middle at #90 with 24.8% of the population considered to be obese.
