2. Have you ever walked all the way to the other side on a railroad trestle? (This one looks just like the one I used to cross, but it lacks the giant concrete steps that go down to the creek level, unless they can't be seen in this photo; boy were they steep steps!)
3. Have you ever driven as fast as you could just to see how fast the car would go? ( I drove a cadillac and it reached 110 mph.)
4. Would you reenter your home, which was on fire, to rescue the family dog, who was hiding under your bed? (Some explanation is needed here; I had already gotten my mother and my children out, but a fireman, [volunteer one] asked me to go in and get the dog because he tried to bite him.) I ended up with smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital.
5. If you have ever done any of the things I mentioned, would you ever repeat them if you could go back to that time in the past? (My answer to that is: I definitely would not!)
6. Well, except for that last one I would not repeat any of those actions. I would rescue the family dog, but knowing what I know now, I would crawl to the bedroom and crawl on the floor back with the dog somehow so that I would be underneath the smoke. Or else I would ask the fireman for one of the masks like the firemen were all wearing. Would you rescue the family dog if you were wearing a fireman's mask or were crawling underneath the smoke?
