"Voice in the Night" by Surprise Sithole, is an autobiographical story of a teenage boy, born into a family of witch doctors in a remote village in Mozambique,Africa. Living in poverty, constant fear, and abused constantly by his parents, Suprise led a hopeless life. One night he was awakened out of his sleep by a voice calling his name and telling him that if he did not get up and leave his village and family immediately, that he would die. So, without knowing who's voice it was, he rose up and headed into the dangerous jungle. "Voice in the Night" tells of his experiences and adventures that followed, as he came to know the God who loved him and cared for him like no one ever had.
