Texas Preacher Nathan Lorick vented on Twitter when his American Airlines flight was delayed. AA responded in typical business fashion. However, Lorick didn't just have a problem with their service, as his next tweet to AA was, "AmericanAir what's the deal with the rainbow colored image?" referring to their LGBT logo in their Twitter name. AA responded that since June is LGBT pride month, they are using the rainbow to show they support LGBT community and their many allies. Locke's next tweet was "Seems like a poor choice from a company that certainly has many customers who do not agree with that lifestyle! #disappointed", and then AA responded with "We're sorry for your disappointment". What do you think of their response?

Their response acknowledges that the issue is with Nathan, and people who think like him.

AA is not alone with supporting LGBT and their allies. Many companies have been very vocal and assertive in their support, while some are supportive in a quieter way. Which of these companies that are very forthright in support do you know of?

Would you actively seek out and support a company that believed as you do--for example fly on AA, or avoid a company that did not believe the same way you do--for example, never drink Budweiser beer because they support LGBT rights and you did not?
