Results: Who is the best Canadian Comedian or Comedic Actor? Standup Edition.

Norm MacDonald didn't see as much critical and financial success as his opponent, but there is no doubt for Comedy lovers how funny this man was RIP. Some may not even know Jim Carrey started as a standup because he achieved so much success in film. He is also a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Two very different comedic styles from these men. Who is your favorite.

Tom Green definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea for sure. His comedy style turns many away. I mean you either loved or hated with a passion Freddie Got Fingered. But there is no doubt about his contribution to comedy. His self produced talk show inspired many whether to do podcasts or prank style shows like Jackass and Punk'd or The Eric Andre Show. Russell Peters however has a worldwide audience with a more traditional standup style, although he has not featured in tv and film he has a many small parts. Who is your favorite.

You may know Caroline Rhea from her role as one of the Aunties on Sabrina The Teenage Witch from the 90's or as the host of The Biggest Loser for a few years. She is also a great standup comedian. Her opponent would definitely been less known. Debra DiGiovanni is one of my favorite comedians working today. Very funny and self deprecating. Another standup with a unique style is Harland Williams. Again, not for everyone but i love him. His only starring role was in a bomb called Rocketman. He had more memorable bit parts in Dumb and Dumber (highway cop), Half-Baked and Superstar. I think you may know this guy in the U.S. but I'm not sure. Brent Butt had a pretty long standup career before he finally made it bigger by creating the beloved Canadian TV show Corner Gas. It is a funny little show making fun of small town life.
