I love Journey and the silky strong voice of Steve Perry, who saved the band from oblivion when he joined, and guided Journey into being one of the earliest and best area rock bands of the late 70s and 1980s. Steve's pitch is perfect, and he effortlessly sings notes in the stratosphere! No autotune then!

I have a different favourite band about every few months or so. My musical tastes are always evolving. For the most part I like rock and roll but will also listen to pop, jazz, alternative, a little country. Some songs I'm drawn to the lyrics, some to the beat. Overall though, I seem to gravitate to songs where there is a singer with a lovely, smooth voice that contrasts with a singer with a low, growly voice, like Alexisonfire.
