I started seeing a lot of videos online, in the past 3 or 4 years of people talking about how some of the basic exercises with weights that I have always been told were the best, are no longer needed and you can getter better results with other exercises, or that the risks of injury outweigh any benefits.

What are your thoughts on these exercises if you are into weightlifting at all?
Keep them all. They are still the best.
